I wanted to make these items as easy and accessible as possible for everyone to buy, so I took a stroll down our fair city and landed on the shopping destination of Grafton street. Everything I bought you can find in Ireland or online!
Florals – Without fail, florals are always a huge trend for spring/summer. This is the season for weddings and special outdoor occasions, and as I was shopping, this floral dress instantly jumped out at me. The pastel colour and cute little slit in the middle, I just loved it!
Some floral patterns are very over-powering but this dress is both stunning and understated. It pulls you in at all the right places and is very elegant with its A-line cut. I think this dress would be amazing on all skin tones and all sizes; it’s super flattering. I found this little number in River Island for an absolute steal of €65.
Pop of colour! – Pop pop pop of colour! Wowzer, this cerise pink jumpsuit is everything! I’m loving this look so much, it is definitely versatile as you can wear it day or night, or even to another wedding, all depending on the accessories of course! You can add any style of jewellery to make this outfit work for you.
The bell bottom three-quarter length is something very different for me, but it is so comfortable and light to wear. I can’t wait to take this jumpsuit for a walk! Found this hot number in Warehouse for €77.
Deconstructed shirt – So the deconstructed shirt is an on trend must! This style comes in such a variety of ways, it’s just about picking something that you like and that suits you. I have gone for the off the shoulder look. It’s perfect for your holidays or just out and about!
You can team this with mom jeans like I have, or a long skirt with sandals. It’s so easy to wear! I found this cute shirt in Zara for €29.95
Embroidery – This look has been in for a quite a while but I don’t think it’s going anywhere anytime soon. You will find embroidery on jeans, shirts, skirts, jackets or even jumpers this season (it’s on everything)! This cute little jumper is perfect to have in your wardrobe. You can team it up with almost anything. I have kept it quite simple by teaming it with a pair of leather pants and heels.
If you’re wearing it to work, you can pair it with a basic white shirt underneath and a pair of black jeans and you’re ready to go. I’m really in love with this look. You can find this jumper in Oasis for €59.
Leather – OK, let’s talk leather. I just have heart bubble eyes whenever I see leather! I definitely think you have to have something leather in your wardrobe whether it’s a jacket, pair of trousers, or what I have chosen, a leather skirt.
Again, I have kept this look very simple by teaming it with a basic white shirt, you don’t have to do much as leather is a statement in itself. You can find this super hot skirt in Top Shop for €44.
